  • 1 Pairs good walking boots

  • 2 Pairs long hunting pants (Olive Green)
  • 3 Pairs hunting shirts  (Olive Green)
  • 1 Hunting Jacket –( Real tree type camo or Olive Green )
  • 1 Warm sweater or jumper
  • Light Weight rain gear for hunts conducted in October and later
  • Sun Screen
  • Cap or Hat
  • Casual wear for evenings
  • Personal Camera Equipment/Binoculars
  • Insect repellent
  • Malaria prophylaxis
  • Skin so soft by Avon (for Tsetse fly)
  • Bugsuit jacket for Tsetse fly
  • 1 soft case per gun as hard cases don’t fit into the charter planes (we will arrange storage for hard cases where they are required to be left  at point of departure)

Customs & Immigration

We have a private agent who will meet you in Pemba or Maputo International Airports on arrival, with all relevant paperwork and all assistance through airport to charter and then again upon return for out bound flight. Visa – the visa can be bought on arrival in Pemba or Maputo.

 

Should you wish to acquire a visa prior to travel, this link tells you whether you have a Mozambique Embassy in your country: https://www.embassypages.com/mozambique  if you don’t have an embassy in your country, you will be allowed to apply for your visa on arrival in Mozambique.

Health Precautions

Mozambique is a Malaria area & clients must take precautions. It is suggested, with your doctor’s approval that you take ” Malarone” tablets.  No mandatory vaccines are required to enter Mozambique. Will update if such is added.

Seasons

Hunting season is from the 1st April to the 30th November.

Information required for all clients entering Mozambique on a hunting safari.

  • Visa (Issued on arrival in Mozambique or you can apply in your country of residence if an embassy is available )
  • You need to send us the following:
  • A scanned colour copy of your passport.
  • A scanned colour copy of a passport size photograph.
  • A scanned copy of your US Customs form 4457 / Firearm License – which states the firearm details and proof of ownership of the firearms that you are bringing with you on your safari.
  • Please make sure the following is clearly written: – Make of firearm, Caliber of firearm and Serial Number of firearm.
  • Please note: rifle permits cost $250.00 per  firearm.

The above information (passport, photo & gun license / 4457) must be with us 12 weeks prior to the commencement date of the safari.
